Dear Student,

Thank you for your interest in the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated^® Alpha Omega Omega Chapter scholarship. This scholarship was established to support students within our community. This scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior girl who has demonstrated academic ability, and high ethical and social standards. The need for financial assistance will also be taken into consideration. We are looking for the student who seeks to attain and pursue a four (4) year degree at a college/university after graduating from high school.

 

The applicant must have at a least 3.0 or better G.P.A, and must show proof of other social, school and community activity participation.

 

Scholarship application packets must be submitted online by 11:59pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

 

*Scholarship recipients must show proof of enrollment in a 4 year college or university. Funds are mailed directly to the College or University.

Your application packet should include:

 

• Completed Application
• Official High School Transcript
• Wallet Size Portrait Photo
• Typed essay about yourself: include interests, goals and how this scholarship will help you in your educational endeavors (no more than 2 pages,double-spaced,14 point font)
• Three (3) letters of reference
